Back To The Roots: Rural Development Compliance Essentials

Participants will gain a basic understanding of the USDA Rural Development program, in multi-family housing, how the programs operate, who they serve, and the compliance responsibilities tied to RD funded properties.  We break down the "regulatory wall" into manageable bricks, focusing on how to qualify tenants and avoid compliance pitfalls.  You'll learn the lifecycle of an RD file from the application to the final signature on the tenant certification.  We focus on the "why" behind the rules, helping you build a defensible file that protects the property's compliance and keeps your owner happy.  

This training will be presented in person by Ronnette Smith with Zeffert & Associates.  Attendees will receive a training workbook to coincide with the presentation.
