Featured Speaker: MARY ROSS - Mary (CPO, FHC & MORS) is a nationally recognized expert in property management training and consulting. Her two-day training provides new information about HUD occupancy changes. She will also discuss recent and upcoming changes to HUD’s requirements. Take home the most up-to-date information in the industry! Training includes sample forms, notices, and checklists.

Additional Speakers: Matt Rayburn is the Deputy Executive Director and Chief Real Estate Development Authority (IHCDA). He oversees IHCDA's Real Estate Development department to ensure resources are used to accomplish agency priorities while complying with Federal and State regulations.

Amanda Gross of U.S. Housing Consultants brings 18 years of experience in LIHTC, fair housing, USDA RD rental housing, HUD multifamily housing, HOME investment partnership program, and tax-exempt bonds.

Scott Precourt of U.S. Housing Consultants is well known within the industry for developing new and innovative solutions to prevent and correct non-compliance, and is also known as a leading voice on compliance for HUD REAC Inspections, having presented at hundreds of conferences and training events since 2006.

Alan Rakowski is the Rental Housing Tax Credit Manager at IHCDA, which includes creating and administering Indiana's Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) and overseeing the allocation of 9% tax credits and multifamily tax-exempt bonds with 4% tax credits.

Tara Appleby oversees the Voucher Department at Indiana Quadel Consulting (INQ). She and her team review monthly HAP and Special Claim submissions to ensure program compliance and to facilitate the release of timely, accurate subsidy payments. She routinely participates in HUD Focus Groups, working with multi-level HUD staff, trainers, software developers, and other PBCA staff in the recommendation and development phase of policies, procedures, and supporting forms and notices for HAP, Special Claims, and TRACS related processes. Tara has over 31 years in the affordable housing industry.

Angie Garland joined Indiana Quadel in 2008 as a Contract Renewal Specialist. She was promoted to Senior Contract Renewal Specialist in 2010. Angie currently serves as the Contract Renewal Manager where she oversees all duties and tasks associated with contract renewals and rent adjustments. Angie Garland has over 15 years of experience in the affordable housing industry which includes various programs such as Section 8, HOME, CDBG, and the Relocation Act.

Cancellations made on or before March 10, 2019 will receive 50% refund. Cancellations made after March 17, 2019 and no shows will be responsible for full amount of registration.
